ITC Gardenia "You Ask We Answer" Event | Bangalore
00:48
We were invited for an event quite some time ago but it was
recently that we came to know about the venue and of course the brand
associated with the event. We were quite thrilled as we got to know about the
venue and it was quite an experience indeed.
The venue was ITC Gardenia, Bangalore situated in Residency
road and of course the brand associated was none other than ITC itself. The
name of the event was “You ask we answer” by ITC Foods.
The Venue was magnificent as expected like all the other ITC
hotels. The grandeur, technology and courtesy all combined gave everyone a rich
and comforting feeling. So, we were headed on our way to the registration desk
and from there to the main auditorium for the event, where we were asked to
take refreshments.
Leaving aside the preparations, the representation was so
attractive combined with the fact that the spread was so colourful was indeed
eye soothing. The spread comprised of almonds dipped in rose water, two
varieties of mouth watering cupcakes, samosas, oreo milkshakes and some juices.
The almonds were the perfect appetizer—peeled with a mild
essence of rose water and decorated with one rose petal! The cupcakes were
unique—in one the main ingredient was carrot and it tasted heavenly and the
other had banana and chocolate which was crunchy and pretty good as well. The
samosas were good and the oreo milkshake was normal—nothing so special.
So, after the refreshments the event took its course and was
started by a very informative speech by Mr. V L Rajesh (Divisional Chief
Executive of ITC Foods Ltd.) about the challenges of the food industry and how
ITC Foods managed through all the odds and is one of the top players in the
market. He discussed about brands and his experiences, after which Ms Kavita
Chaturvedi took us through the backstory of Sunfeast Yippeee noodles as she was
handling the brand Sunfeast Yippee.
The second session was basically to reassert that there is
nothing harmful in the contents of the noodles and that was backed up by some
cool videos. Of course it was quite boring for us since we are already
convinced ;) but for people with concerns, it was a good awareness session.
Following this we had a very interesting cook off among 4
teams of which our team was called the Bingo Blasters! This activity was
extremely entertaining and enjoyable as everyone could cook up something with
noodles.
A variety of ingredients and spices were available and a time limit of
20 minutes was given for the cook off. Some teams made noodle pizza; some made
noodle papdi chaat, noodle tortillas and noodle golgappas. We ended up with
nothing more but a great experience and cherish able memories as the other
teams were very good!
After the cook off we headed for lunch, specially prepared
by ITC master chefs using ITC products.
That marked the end of the grand event and it was an experience worth remembering.
Overall, Great Ambiance, Good food, Great people and lastly
very well organized indeed!
It was a splendid day and special thanks to Million Screens
and ITC Foods for putting up such a grand event! We will look forward to
another!
Till then—Bon Appétit!
