All of us might have heard of the term “pub crawl” but have you guys ever thought of something like a “restaurant crawl”?

Well YES, as bizarre as it sounds we were recently a part of something similar and it sure was fun!

The VR Bengaluru is currently organising the VR Foodies Fest which includes a whole lot of exciting stuff like master classes, cook-offs, pub crawls etc. but we were a part of something called the Gourmet Safari which involves restaurant hopping for each individual course.

This entire extravaganza is running from the 6th till the 16th of April & the Gourmet Safari is on for the dates: 5, 6, 15, and 16.

The entire fest is curated by Karen Anand & we had the pleasure of meeting & interacting with her.
Now for the Gourmet Safari in detail:

Although we were never too glad to be around pizzas initially, gradually we let down our walls and accepted it!

After all, they are cheesy by nature (haha?)

From Italian speciality restaurants to Pizzerias & large pizza chains we have tried a variety of pizzas but this time, there was something new on the cards.

Pizza Hut launched a new kind of Pizza called the “Cracker Thin” Pizza across all their branches in Bangalore & Jaipur and it is an absolute treat! Priced very reasonably, it has a very thin crust and contrary to our belief it is actually very soft.

They have 10 vegetarian & 10 non vegetarian variants & almost all of them are as good as the other. We tried 3 pizzas: The Veggie Supreme, The Non-veg Supreme & another non veg pizza with loads of chicken sausages & chicken pepperoni.

The Non-veg Supreme Cracker Thin Pizza is a level above normal pizzas: we were finding it hard to let go!

For drinks we tried a Masala Lemonade which is very refreshing & perfect for the hot summers. For dessert, we tried a Choco-chip cookie sundae which is baked in house & is fresh, chocolaty & sinful.

The Veg pizzas are priced at about 450-460 INR AI, and the non-veg about 520 AI which is pretty reasonable considering the usage of Mozzarella & a very generous amount of toppings.

Another good point about the pizzas: unlike other thin crusts, it does not get crunchy but stays soft. The cheese used in the pizzas are proper Mozzarella so enjoy the pull!

That’s all from our side.

If you love pizzas, this is your cue! We really enjoyed these pizzas mainly because they are light on the stomach.

Do let us know about your experience if you try.

We’ll be back with more food info soon.

Till then—eat guilt free & bon apetit!

We have been super engaged in events for the past one week now and this post has a special significance for everyone who gives priority to food at home.

A certain Indian cookware company has come up with some groovy inventions which are sure to revolutionize the home kitchen environment.

So, we were recently a part of an Exclusive Food Tasting session conducted by TTK Prestige & Celebrity Chef Shazia Khan. Shazia demonstrated her cooking prowess through an interactive cooking session & the preparations were impressive to say the least.

There were 5 preparations: two non-veg, two veg & a dessert.

The highlight here is on the cookware used:

If you are a regular reader of the blog: Firstly, Thank you for your support. It is because of you, that we get the motivation to write on.

Secondly, you must be aware that we love to try out new kinds of food and write about them!

So, this post is all about the ongoing Rajasthani Food Festival at M Café, Marriott Whitefield, Bangalore. Although we have tried Rajasthani food before, we have never a part of a complete experience.

We have been to M Café before for other festivals but this festival is different from the others: the food is actually authentic & one of the best food festivals we have experienced.

For those who are well versed with this type of cuisine, we recommend visiting by the 6th of April as the festival ends on this day. Whereas for people like us who do not have much of a clue but are willing to experience: this is a golden opportunity!

We had the pleasure of interacting with Maharaj Bhik Singh, a special chef from Marriot Jaipur who gave us a walkthrough of all the items. We’ll be talking about the highlights only. There was nothing worth complaining about as everything was perfectly executed. The only thing one needs to be careful about is that there are certain items which are an acquired taste & the first hit on the palate might not be a pleasing one!

So, now about the food:
