The Pan Asian Food Festival @ Nook | The Aloft | Bangalore
20:06Pan fried noodles with krapao, fried egg and nori leaves |
So, this time we are going to talk about an ongoing Pan
Asian Food Festival with such endless possibilities at Nook, The Aloft
Bengaluru Cessna Business Park. This was our first time at Aloft and the experience
is definitely worth talking about.
Since Pan Asian has massive variety, the Exec Chef Sandeep
Kumar has tried various combinations so in all probability if we try out the
same festival any other day all the dishes won’t be the same.
The festival runs till the 24th so since there is
not much time left, we won’t talk about the food in detail but just a short
overview of what one should look out for.
There were a number of items which were served only to us,
apart from the buffet.
From the starters section:
Definitely try: The fish starters, the Amritsari Fish Tikka,
Grilled Vegetables, Pizza.
Can try: Dim sums, Chicken starters.
The Sushi’s were pretty dry for our palate and so was the
Tenderloin preparation. The sauce was tasty but the meat was dry.
From the main course/buffet:
Definitely try: Almost everything! They have one of the few
buffets in town where the main course actually rocks! Also, do not forget to
try their Thai curry live counters.
From the items we were served separately, the ones to look
out for are: Crab salad with mango, chilli & wasabi mayonnaise, prawn
tempura & Pan fried noodles with krapao, fried egg and nori leaves.
The crab salad tasted excellent but was a bit on the sweeter
side. The flavours of crab were not dominant. The Tempura was good but slightly
on the oily side. The third item was a main course item and it was a very
different and lip smacking preparation. The pan fried noodles along with the
minced chicken and the sauce blended excellently.
From the desserts: apart from the cakes & pastries, the
rasmalai and another dessert with coconut milk & palm sugar. These are the
highlights of our experience at the Pan Asian food festival.
They do have a variety of jelly based desserts which many
crave for!
The entire buffet is reasonably priced at 1099++ and not
much time left for experiencing this.
That’s all folks ;)
Do let us know about your experience if you visit.
If you feel a buffet is your arena and Asian & Pan Asian
are your cuisines of choice—don’t wait!
We’ll be back soon with appetising news.
Till then—stay tuned & bon apetit!

ReplyDeleteHey Angelina! It is our pleasure. Glad you liked it :) Yes the food is pretty decent & if you see the price point it is actually a good deal!
DeleteMoreover, we'll be visiting sometime this week for another festival at Nook. Stay tuned :)
